Electronic Update of Retirees’ Data Launched Through Iraq’s Ur Platform
The National Pension Authority has launched an online service allowing retirees to update their personal information through the government’s Ur Platform, as part of efforts to simplify procedures and expand the use of digital government services.
The service enables retirees to update their information electronically, helping the Authority improve the accuracy of its databases while reducing the need for in-person visits to government offices.
The initiative forms part of the broader digital transformation of government services, aimed at accelerating the processing of pension-related transactions and reducing errors caused by outdated or incomplete information.
The Authority is also working to introduce additional electronic services, including the “Martyrs’ Families Window” project, which aims to streamline procedures and facilitate access to related services.
The adoption of digital platforms is expected to reduce pressure on pension offices and improve the ability of government institutions to verify and continuously update their records.
